Guidance on Transportation

Awara Onsen, located about 15 minutes by car from JR Awara Onsen Station and about 15 minutes from the Kanazu IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, is at the northern tip of Fukui Prefecture.

Access Methods

〇　From Tokyo to JR Awara Onsen Station:

　・　By JR Hokuriku Shinkansen "Kagayaki" via Kanazawa: shortest time is 2 hours and 51 minutes.

　・　By car (using the Tomei, Meishin, and Hokuriku Expressways): about 7 hours.

　・　By plane (from Haneda Airport via Komatsu Airport): about 2 hours.

〇　From Osaka to JR Awara Onsen Station:

　・　By JR Kosei Line Limited Express and then JR Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tsuruga: shortest time is 2 hours and 18 minutes.

　・　By car (using the Meishin and Hokuriku Expressways): about 3 hours.

〇　From Nagoya to JR Awara Onsen Station:

　・　By JR Hokuriku Line Limited Express and then JR Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tsuruga: shortest time is 1 hour and 49 minutes.

　・　By car (using the Meishin and Hokuriku Expressways): about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
